Didn't realize that it has been a while since the last time i wrote here.. Well, as a mum and a carrier women, i don't really have time to write (cliche answer.. :D). Moreover, I need to teach at the university and also at the PAUD (or people might say playgroup).
Can you imagine how busy i am ( it just one way of achieving my goal to be rich.. hahaha). But for sure, i need to really work on my daily or weekly schedule.. I don't want, just because of money i'll ignoring my family especially my beloved daughter. It's a big no no... I would let it go then not playing with my kid.
ANyway, the title is beeing a judge yeah? Last month, on April, I was mandated to be a judge of tourism ambassador in East Aceh. I was the judge on English section. It is an interesting event as they try to find the best youth to represent they district. It seem they keep increasing the quality of the winner, as this year they have to be able to speak english.
This is a good experience for me for taking part on such a prestigious event. It's not only having a prestige that i can be a judge but it also mantaining my Englissh. It's been a while or let say almost 2 years that i don't use English (since no body can speak english around me now). I stop teaching English since i was pregnant, and stil vakum since i need to nurse my baby until she is 2 years old (no formula.. ;)
Probably, my English not as good as when i was in aussy, lack of practice make my grammar all over the place. My listening practice also stagnant. Usually i practice by listening to English song or watch English movie. But as i told you before, i don't really have time to do it all... I have time at night time, but i need it for refreshment.
Bytheway, the winner of the tourism ambassador (duta wisata) is Febri taksa and Maria Ulfa (have my name part.. ;p) They quite good in ENglish eventhough not as good as me.. hahaha... At leat they can communicate and send the message of what they are saying.. Good Luck for both of you...
